      push rod lifter tool

75 Super Glide FXE. Getting the front intake and rear intake push rods out over the hydraulic lifters requires some force. Previously, I used a pair of needle node pliers to do this. This tool worked well on the front intake. On the rear, removal was ok - more challenging because there's less space to work with the tool - but it worked ok. Getting it back in was very tricky - same deal space and a good spot to get leverage difficult, plus difficult too see the hydraulic unit and the position of the bottom of the pushrod as it is held in the tool. Success but the needle nose pliers maybe a tad easier in this instance. It's only the 1st time I used it. I'll get a lot more practice on my other bikes. I'd recommend it because when there's room it works great and makes the operation less risky. I'd also note the metal the tool is made of is soft - keep an eye on it.
