United States1999 Ultra Classic
Provides stable power and is functioning well. My bike is an early, early twin cam and the inner primary had to be removed for installation of the new rotor. From what i have read, the more recent twin cam's can be installed with keeping the inner primary on the bike.

Having just purchased this motorcycle and owning it for a week and living in Panama City Beach we had to attend the Thunder Beach Motorcycle Rally. We'll get back to this.. This 01 Electraglide Ultra Classic actually had this very same charging system on it. Just after Thunder Beach the bike quit charging. Very let down, I did the research and found this Cycle Electric stator and regulator kits out there were suppose to be the best. I bought the whole kit, since I want this to be more dependable than my Powerstroke 6.0. My first time in a Primary Drive ever and I find the compensator not had come loose. Remember the *******? We are getting there. Rather than the old Cycle Electric charging system failing, the loose nut allowed the rotor to come loose beating the stator to death. The splines were ripped from the rotor and the rotor was able to spin freely inflicting damage on everything it touched. Back to the *******. Friday evening during Thunder Beach, Thomsa Drive was lined with lawn chairs, coolers, and of course the revv your engine and I'll show you my ******* girls. My son and I had swapped motorcycles I now on his Road King, and he on my Electra Glide...Everytime he would revv the engine that rotor did more and more damage, with all the noise form thousand s of motorcycles, bands, and screaming people around us, we didn't hear what was happening in my primary drive. As far as Cycle Electric's parts, if the last guy to have had that compensator nut off had used Loctite, the rotor woukd not have slipped and destroyed the stator and $400 in other parts. All trial by fire and I am going to be a much better Harly mechanic than I wanted to be.

Before I review the charging system shout out to Charlotte at lowbrow customs that was instrumental in me getting the kit when it came in. I ordered the kit from your store , it was back order it took almost 4 weeks to get the item in stock ! I installed it and have not quite 1000 miles on my bike ! Bike runs fine charging system is a great , no problems easy installation if you know how to use a wrench all I could say is good things about low brow and its staff ! And electric cycle company for its great products !

Let’s start with LowBrow, I ordered over the weekend, part shipped the next day and I had it to my door in 3 or so days across country. Best price around. Next is Cycle Electric, factory stator was failing at 80k, and knew the replacements from MoCo weren’t made in USA. Decided to go with the Cycle Electric upgrade kit, my first time replacing a complete charging system. Thankfully having all the right tools made it much easier than expected.
