These adjusting screws are a huge improvement.
Get some o-ring grease before you install these. Mixture and throttle are now very easy. No tools needed.

A Huge Improvement On The Stock Amal Adjuster Screws!
Wow...I have been trying to get my dual 930's adjusted right for about 2 months. I'm a better fabricator than a mechanic so every time I get my BSA out, I always find myself pulling out my pocket knife multi-tool to adjust my carbs. After spending 30 minutes sweating my *** off on the side of the road, in full gear, while it was 102 degrees, I thought it was time to really get my **** tuned right. I didn't even know these existed until I was on here looking for something else I needed. I thought "What the ****?" and bought them. I got my carbs adjusted better in 5 minutes with these thumb screws than I did in 2 months with the old slotted screws and a screwdriver. Just a couple of TIPS: 1) The o-rings are somewhat difficult to get on these. I put a thin string down the length of the screw and put the screw AND the string through the o-ring. Once I got the o-ring up to the shoulder that it needed to go over, I used the string to pull the o-ring just enough to get it started over the shoulder and into the channel it needs to be in. Once the o-ring was on, I slid the string out. 2) When putting these in the carbs, the new o-rings tend to smush out of the channel they are supposed to be in. With the o-rings on the screws, I put them in the freezer for a couple hours to shrink the rubber. Then I sprayed a tiny bit of wd-40 in the carb holes and ******* the new thumb screws in. The o-rings went in a lot easier this way. 3) Make sure you screw these all of the way in to start off. I even had to do the ol "in-out, in-out" a couple times to get the o-rings to seat properly. You can pretty much feel when they are seated or not because when they are, the screws are a little bit easier to turn.

Great part that makes idle/mixture adjustments easy
It took me a bit to get these brass adjusters to fit my carbs. The sealing O rings can stretch a bit fitting them on the studs which makes them butt up and not compress into the carb body. I used a sharp drill bit to champher the inlet on the carbs just a little bit and the O ring compressed perfectly. Nice parts that make those idle adjustsmets when putting around in traffic a breeze!

Great as always. Parts were easy to swap out.

Another must have. Adjust those pesky screws easily with your digits. Great for that roadside tweak.

I have used this item on a couple of bikes now. They work well and look cool, give you the ability to adjust on the fly if necessary. I would recommend them to anyone using Amal carbs
