When you buy a bike, it is common to have cables and wires everywhere. Wires for your turn signals, wires for lights, clutch and brake, and throttle cables, it just gets messy pretty quickly. 

Obviously, you need to have some of these things to operate your bike, but getting them organized in a way that allows the function while looking clean and neat is the key.

When you change out your handlebars you will often have to extend or shorten your wiring. This is a common issue and depending on the bike and the number of accessories the process can take some time and thought. If you need to extend your wiring you may want to look for a handlebar wiring extension kit. These kits come in a variety of lengths and provide you with all of the wires needed for the specific model you are working on. 

These motorcycle handlebar wiring extension kits are a real time saver making the handlebar installation much easier. Just connect them to the existing wiring and then route them to the motorcycle handlebar switch control kit. You will also need to replace your motorcycle clutch cable and your throttle cable with longer cables. 

During the installation process it is important to make sure there is no pinching or pulling when you rotate your handlebars to full stop. Having a cable restricts your ability to turn the bike can be very dangerous, so be sure to check this when installing new cables or wiring.
