Did not fit correctly

Carb did not fit correctly on my BSA B50SS Left side stud runs into choke a,if you try to tighten up nut stud will crush choke mechanisms . You also can’t use stock air box .

Single 30mm JRC Carb on 1968 Norton Atlas

Easy installation on my 1968 Norton Atlas's single carb manifold. The supplied low-profile nut made the install go quickly. At 4200 feet above sea level, I installed the supplied alternative jetting for a single carb 650 BSA/Triumph. 1st kick starts, sweet idle, and even pull through the rev range.

JRC CARB FROM LOWBROW DOES THE TRICK AGAIN

Great carb, great service, great price. Real easy to change out jets for fine tuning. Drain the bowl, pop it off and twist out the 9 mm main jet tube. I cover the case with a rag and drain the bowl into an old tuna fish can which fits well in there. Swap out the main jet with a 6 mm wrench. Takes maybe 10 minutes. Air cleaners are a challenge to fit to these carbs. I take a standard length velocity stack and cut it down to match carb neck diameter. Then attach it with a small self tapping screw through the stack and a carefully drilled hole in the carb. I drill manually with one of those small twister drills.

Great quality, once spacers and new cables sorted fitting was easy, need to us half nuts on choke lever side, other than that excellent product and great delivery to NZ

Nice conversion

Replaced my worn out 1967 Amal's with these. Stock mounts, and cables fit perfect. Found the jets had already been changed for my Bonneville. Set the float height and fired up and went for a ride. Ran great. At 6000" feet and 90 degrees F, they run a little rich but that was to be expected. Will do a little more jetting. Great carbs, well worth the price.
