Back in 1967 car and motorcycle customizer and father of Rat Fink, Ed “Big Daddy” Roth invented the first true custom bike magazine genre with Choppers Magazine. It offered up crazy wild choppers and the first David Mann paintings and original artwork from Robert Williams. The original Choppers ran until 1970 until Roth sold it off to another publisher who eventually killed the title. Fast forward to 2018 when former editor of WRENCH magazine Cary Brobeck decided the world needed Choppers Mag to come back. After getting the approval from Ed Roth’s son, and many sleepless nights, Brobeck brought Choppers magazine back to life. The new and improved Choppers Mag now comes in full color and full size saddle stitch so you can tear out the centerfold and hang in your garage like before.
