The reason i bought this generator combo was because I fried the other one I was running the mechanical voltage regulator tweaked and started arcing on the frame It’s a simple setup well worth the money if I had just bit the bullet and bought this years ago I’d have many more miles on the 1975 xlh 1000

I’ve always lusted after a Cycle Electric generator but could never justify the purchase when my 40 year old OEM one was working well enough. Then, when I was no longer getting juice to my battery, I didn’t even bother to figure out if it was the generator or regulator. I ordered this and it showed up in 2 days. It took about 5 minutes to install and another 5 to wire it in. Not only does it charge my battery, but I swear it added at least 10 horsepower, improved my fuel economy by 20 percent, and improved my bedroom performance by 30 percent! Highly recommended!
