How Your Motorcycle Rear Brake Light Switch Works

When you depress your rear brake lever a rod acts as a piston activating your rear brake caliper while simultaneously activating your rear brake light. When you take your foot off the lever a spring retracts the lever back to the original position deactivating your rear brake light switch. This is how your rear brake light switch works.
