So the frame got hung up/lost in shipping. Bummer, but Dan and Chatlotte at Lowbrow went out of their way to ensure it got to me. I'm sure they were tired of hearing from me, but that didn't stop them from doing what it takes to deliver an outstanding customer experience. That alone is worth the purchase.
The frame from Gasbox is top notch. They did a fantastic job thinking through everything you need to build a solid bike. Every weld is perfect. This is the frame you need for your build, hands down. The partnership and support from gasbox and lowbrow is unprecedented in custom bike building and takes the headache out of it while leaving you room to make it your own. Its worth every penny and then some! Buy it now!

Q:Hey guys I bought a frame a while back, and have slowly been building, I was trying to run my belt drive, but I couldn’t get it to fit. I started thinking maybe I need to run chain drive in order to make it fit? Is this the case?

A:If you are building a custom bike and using a hardtail frame , bolt on or weld on hardtail what you can do for those is to put the back wheel with the tire installed onto the frame , block under the bottom of the frame to desired ride height and then measure from the neck to where the center of your front wheel will be to get an idea of what length to use . It is best to have the front wheel and tire you are going to use and then with a broom handle inserted into the neck line it up with the wheel and measure what you have . Keep in mind when measuring that the additional weight of the engine and other components may compress the forks so it is better to go up a size then down for the length if you are in between sizes.
