New Tank for an Old Bike

I had been looking for a while for a new gas tank for my 2001 H-D XL1200. Since it was a 2001, H-D no longer carried the tank in their Parts Department. I had checked a number of after-market places and Lowbrow Customs had the BEST PRICE! I ordered the tank, was told it would be to me in about a week, and it arrived in 3 DAYS! Fits perfectly! And, it came with all the parts needed to install. I'm checking with Lowbrow Customs for ALL of my future bike part needs from now on.

This company is great. Order a new tank and rear fender. Both at different times and both came at the end of the week after I order. Literally only a couple of days. Great customer service and quick responses to problems and any other questions. Wouldn’t buy anything from anybody else.

Good deal on a nice tank.

Pressure tested good at 5 psi. Remember, "custom fit for your bike" means you have to custom fit it to your bike. My tank's mounts were not quite as pictured. 5/16 x 1/2 slots, not 3/4 holes. I opened them up to accept rubber mounts, and had to bend the mounting tabs a bit. Great price on the a good tank, just don't install it like an amateur.

Harley Sportster King gas tank

Bought this tank to mount on my 77 shovel. Looks to be good quality product. Originally I was going to use a stock Sportster tank because of its smaller size,but now glad I with the King instead.
