I just stumbled on my first genuine barn find, except there was no barn. A numbers matching, clear titled 1972 TR6R 650 with 20,000 original miles that had been leaning against the back of a house for the last 28 years. I've been watching Todds' 650 tear down series and am now bitten with the Triumph bug. I get it. Never owned one, never even rode one. But I have heard them, and they sound awesome. My library of manuals has become a small stack, and I ordered some tools today. To say I am psyched is an understatement. The only hitch so far are the mice I had to evict from the exhaust ports. WOOHOO!!!! Oh yeah, the book is great, it's a brand-new version of the one the former owner gave me with the bike. So, I have one in the garage and one in the car to read while my wife strolls around TJ Maxx. I am a happy man.
