First off it was well wrapped and protected for shipping second it is Very well built, easy to install , only issue was gas tank hole centers don't match up to stock tank as mine measures 15.25in centers to center before making cuts. Motor bolted right up no issues there. Installed on a stock 1981 ironhead sportster.

Had to file, hone to make IDs bigger and ODs smaller. Overall quality is great. Everything slid together once dimensions were set. Good directions and video- would be nice to have paper directions ship with the frame but not a big deal.

Looks great. After looking around it was easy to see Lowbrow makes the best unit. I bought a small mig to DIY this beast. Just waiting on odds and ends. Watched Tim’s Lowbrow how-to video(s) for getting the job done. He’s easy to learn from and great at what he does. Give that guy a raise!!!

The quality of this hardtail kit exceeded my expectations. The welds and overall fabrication are top notch. Only issue I had was the top tube’s sleeve was way too tight. Even after using a die grinder on the front frame section for what felt like forever, the top tube sleeve still would not go on. Eventually the plug weld holding it in broke and the whole thing came out. Chucked it in my lathe and after 1 pass had it fitting great. Minor inconvenience but worth mentioning. This will be the hardtail I use going forward!

Super well made, great tig welds, clean looking and no issues with quality there, only issue I ran into was the pipe sleeve on the top backbone was slightly oversized to slip in my frame, simple solution I just removed it from the hardtail and sanded a few thousandths off after chucking it up in the lathe. Over all very pleased and impressed and the issue I ran into is just part of custom fabrication and not something that should scare anyone away.

79 was what my budget allowed at the time until recently the only thing you could get was bird stuff which is bolt on and kept alot of the **** lol. as before with the kr stuff fit was impressive and tech support followed thru nicely . i dig you guys stand behind everything in your catalog ill be coming back for more
