      Biker Patches FAQ

What does 3 piece motorcycle club patches mean?
A '3 piece patch' consists of a central image, with a rocker patch top and bottom. Typically, the top rocker is the club name, the central image the club logo, and the bottom rocker the location of the wearer's club chapter. This 3 piece patch is known as 'colors'. Not all motorcycle clubs with colors are outlaws. However, if a group of riders has a 3 piece patch, that usually means they have been sactioned by the dominant, local MC. Typically you will see a small square patch with MC near the bottom rocker for Motorcycle Clubs.
What are motorcycle patches to avoid?
MCs (Motorcycle Clubs) are real. If you are in one, you don't need to ask this question. If you aren't, and are unsure if you should wear a particular patch.. then you probably shouldn't! Motorcycle clubs have specific rules, meanings and history behind their patches, and take them seriously.
Where to put patches on a biker vest?
If you are not part of a motorcycle club, then patches are for decoration or to share accomplishments, rides attended, journeys made. Pick the location and place your patches wherever you like, it is just personal preference. Motorcycle Clubs tend to have rules or tradition when it comes to patch styling and placement, and it varies by club. It is for club members to know and practice.
