United StatesYou need a flat washer too if you don't have it. petcock > flat washer > seal washer > tank
The washer's quality is good itself. I spent a few minutes twisting my petcock to get it as close as possible to make the seal and the washer was still loose. Partly my fault, I do wish the description could indicate that you need a flat washer as well for it to achieve a good seal though.

Don't forget the flat washers
My bike leaked fuel around the petcock area. I ordered new petcocks, sealing washers and the flat washers. Cleaned the threads in the tank with a 45 caliber bore brush installed the new parts dry, no more leak.
