Hello ti the whole team
Oil tank and Hard tail mounted everything is perfect and fits perfectly ! Great products and excellent quality ! Greetings from France !

fits great
works perfect for my bolt on hardtail 77. Needed to notch the lower bracket to fit over the not flat rear motor mount but that was easy

nice tank
nice steel oil tank and with some modify and Fabing it will work pretty good. I have a 1977 xlh 1000 sporty I have been rebuilding org had the t.c. bros oil tank on it the problem was only two bolts and weld points for the tank broke one of the welds off due to vibration of the bike. This one has three mounting spots a little better. Mounting the bottom leg to the tank I had to ditch the bolts that was on the starter solenoid for allen socket bolts was easier to get it back in and replace the bolts lowbrow gave with allen socket bolts .as for the back of the tank I use 1 1/4 flat stock and drilled out round stock for the spacer and a long allen socket bolt. Using lowbrows bolt on k mode4l hardtail on the bike. Great products and well made in America just wish they would send paperwork with the parts you order so you are not going in blind.

Pro Tip
First off, I never feel the need to write reviews positive or negative. Especially for a company like Gasbox, all of their products are top notch. Order this oil tank with reckless abandon to your build budget. PRO TIP: if you’re going crazy and doing a full build, install the lower bracket before you wrap up the primary. It attaches to the top two bolts of the rear motor mounts under the starter solenoid, boom easy. **PRO TIP #2** if you’re going in blind and just bolting this on and your primary’s buttoned up and solenoid on (like me) there’s a way around it without disassembling everything with some patience. First take those slotted holes and slot them all the way open to the front of the mount, see attached photo (angle grinder) and with a trusty 9/16” wrench and patience you can back those bolts out and slip the bracket underneath. Loose fit and mock up the oil tank, find where the bracket wants to sit and cinch ‘er down. Boom

******* ! Perky, firm, natural ******* !!!!
Very well made. Quality all the way around. I like it !

Oil tank
Perfect fit! Easy to mount. Looks awesome

Oil tank
Quality was great, shipped quick, bolt on yes, but honestly easier to just weld brackets to frame and mount then to pull inner primary to remove case bolts for lower bracket
