Rob Howe, owner of MotoStuka, has a 750 square foot shop in Dripping Springs, Texas. After losing a 9-to-5 job about a decade ago, and having had a motorcycle for nearing 50 years, Rob created MotoStuka out of his a passion for two wheeled machines.
Shanks gloves are hand made in the USA
Rob wanted to create and design some things that motorcycle riders would be into and find useful. This drastic life change, some passionate ideas, a lot of care, determination, and hard work is what created MotoStuka.
Where did the name MotoStuka come from? It's actually a slang word for old German motorcycles. Rob is passionate about his vintage BMWs.
Rob's 1977 BMW R75 /7 set up to go on or offroad.
MotoStuka consists of high quality handmade soft goods mostly made from waxed leather materials, canvas and suede. Rob's most popular product is his signature gloves called Shanks Gloves.
These gloves give motorcycle riders some real style while remaining practical, functional, and offering protection and durability. All while remaining hand-made at Rob's shop in Dripping Springs. MotoStuka Shanks Gloves have become iconic in the custom and vintage motorcycle world.
