Shipped fast. Packed well. Seems fairly solid. Looks cool. Obvious to trained eyes that it's not original, but that's ok. Have it on a 76 swingers frame that has been hard tailed to factory frame specs. Gives it a cool look and stance. Won’t know if I should have gone with 4 over until I drop the engine in it and pick out cool bars to go with it.

A:To be honest with you I do not have any experience with fitting a springer to your particular model and can not advise what may be the best course of action for doing so . The majority of the inexpensive springers will have a stem that is 1 inch in diameter because they are normally fitted to Harley applications. You could try a google search to see if there may be a bearing kit available for your model. I have put front forks on bikes that do not belong there and most of the time the easiest way to accomplish this is to have a stem made that works with the bearings that fit that particular frame neck as the bearings needed are just not available. Or to have a shim made for the race from a 1 inch bearing made so it will fit the ID of the frame neck of the bike that you want to put the springer on .
You will need to disassemble the forks from the bike and measure the stem diameter and the ID of the frame neck where the races go . The length of the frame neck where the forks install would also come into consideration.
Basically the ID of the bearing needed will be 1 inch and the race OD for that bearing will need to be the ID of your frame neck You may try some of the many online motorcycle forums to see if any one has done this with your model and what they had to do to make it work .

A:Sorry I do not have an actual ETA for when that item will be back in stock. I do know any time something is out of stock we will have more on order . You can use the out of stock e-mail notification system we have on the site for that . Simply enter your e-mail at the out of stock item and our system will send you an e-mail when it becomes available again. We are not stocking the drum brake version in any other lengths
