After install, fired first kick, idled great, no leak at tickler, that's a plus. From idle to 3/4 throttle was strong. I never go beyond 3/4 throttle since the old bird is 60 years old. Another plus is the depth of the "O" ring groove, stays in place upon install.

Very pleased with the quality and fit of this carburetor. I have it installed on a 1972 Triumph 650 Tiger (TR6R). It is a direct replacement for my original 930 Amal and is set up the same (230 Main Jet, .106 Needle Jet and 3 1/2 Throttle Valve Cutaway Slide). I have it mounted using the original stock airbox and a .062 thick phenolic heat insulating spacer and an 0-ring on the intake manifold. Had no issues getting it set up and running. I would recommend it as an excellent replacement for a Triumph 650.

The carb is very nice , choke cable hole was machined improperly for the choke plug I ordered .. so I had to epoxy one in .. sad to do this to an expensive part ..

The so-called Premiere Mk 1 is an advantage, no doubt. For months now, they have been unobtainable. For my '67 TR6R rebuild, the "plain" Mk 1 is more than adequate. And pre-jetted for a 650, to boot! A no brainer when you want to ride again any time soon!
