United StatesFix for wiggly 3 snap shields
I love my bubble shield(s) except that because they are a 3-snap design, they wiggle. Not a big deal unless when you turn your head (to check for traffic for instance), the wind can get under it and tear it off your helmet. Not a good thing. The simple fix is to get some double-sided foam tape (McMaster-Carr #75315A21) and cut 2 pieces 1' -1 1/2" long and place it on the chrome strip about where your cheeks are. Remove the plastic cover strip from the tape and press the shield onto the tape. No more wiggle or tear off, and if you want to switch shields it will come off relatively easily with a little alcohol clean up. More than once so far this spring my shield has saved me from taking a shot to the face (rock, acorn, tree debris etc.) This fix makes it perfect. Ride safe all.

These shields do a great job to protect my face and keep the feel and function of my open face helmet. The smoke is nice during the day. The snaps are sturdy and hold well to my helmet.

i prefer a 3/4 helmet to a full face. the bubble allows me to keep it on in the cold then remove it when it warms up. increased peripheral vision. i also ordered a clear bubble for early mornings and evenings.
