Seat bracket for '85 maxim

I bought this knowing it would not fit my 1985 yamaha maxim. I had to get a different thread bolt and file rectangular shape on the bottom of the part that bolts to the bike. this made a perfect fit right in the gas tank bolt hole. works out great!

Hands down the best quality solo seat mount I’ve ever used. Most are cheap, flimsy parts that require modification. This is a heavy duty and well thought out part that has a clean look and simple installation!
