Right tool for the right job

Literally 5 minutes and I was done pulling the gear. One thing. It's spring loaded so it'll flex to get around the gear. No need to unscrew it too much or else it'll fall apart. THIS IS NOT A DEFECT. They're made to be able to replace the jaws if they break. Very good tool.

Perfect fit. The puller slipped right behind the pinion gear. Great quality.

Haven't used it yet had to take some time away. This puller has the "it" factor. The heft and feel of this unit tells me it's perfect. Hope to get back on the project this week coming and the timing side is next!

Must Have Puller, Works Like a Champ

I'm not sure how you would remove the intermediate gear without one of these pullers. I guess you could cobble something together that would work. For me the ease of use and quality of this tool coupled with the LB price it's no brainer for me. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Do be careful to align the tool properly. It's can be a little tough to see but get some good light and be patient and it will work perfect.
