United StatesHonestly, I'm disappointed.
Assembling with Colony chromed fasteners is always no fun... The chrome fills the thread lead and it always feels like it's cross-threading... so all you can do is go for it and pray. The nuts and washers in this kit are not the same as stock... The stock nuts are special so not to dent the fender when they're torqued. These are just normal nuts. I didn't use them. One of the flat-headed bolts had pits from a Colony employee who didn't do his job properly.... And why does this kit have the two bolts with the tapered seat? My '80 FLHS doesn't need them, but I had to pay for them. There are 30 pieces in this kit. I used 7. What a waste. Have fun sourcing the big chrome philips-head bolts elsewhere however... so buy it and leave a ****** review if you're with me.
