I ordered this cap for my 2018 fat Bob because I thought the look was just awesome it is a very well made and very nice cap but the thread is different and does not fit the newer M8 softails not the company's fault and I don't blame them like I said the product is top-notch just a warning for anybody ordering this for a newer M8

I have one of these on both of my sportsters. I get a lot of compliments on them. Of course I get a lot of "what, don't you know what to put in there?" comments, but I can have fun with that too - "oh yeah, I once forgot and put my beer in there"! Or " I thought it was for my windshield washer fluid...... that didn't work too well, so I don't want to do that again." People think I'm an idiot and walk away (and leave me alone) or they get it and joke back with me. I think that's called a win-win situation. :-)
