12v generator w/regulator

I’ve had my ‘48 Panhead 36 years. It was a modified motorcycle when I purchased it in 1988 with a very rough life.So I made it into what I wanted and the old Pan was good to me for many years The Panhead is like an old lady that’s been around for quite a few years… you can do better and trade her in for a younger one but old habits die hard! As long as quality parts are available I’ll keep resurrecting the Pan as long as she goes! The new 12v generator with attached regulator fits the bill!

It to soon to tell about using it since its for a project I'm building. The genny I have is old and I don't know if it works but I got the dreaded "only 4 left in stock" email and decided to jump. Plus, LowBrow's price was cheap compared to someone else out there.

I have not installed this gen/reg yet but this spring it will be installed on my 77 ironhead which will help clean up the look by eliminating a separate voltage regulator. As far as actual use, I have NO doubt it will perform just fine as Cycle Electric products rarely fail to impress.

This is my second purchase of the Cycle Electric DGV-500L Generator this year. The one I purchased in October stopped Generating power but I have confidence that Cycle Electric will stand by there two year warranty and help fix or replace that faulty generator. So far this one has been working as advertised. I hope to get many years out of this one as there are not many other options in the Generator buisness so fingers crossed. Lowbrow shipped fast so was able to get my bike up and running in time for a ride I needed to go on.
