Really.. not great. The bulb and socket seem to just be free floating inside of the casing. It’s self grounding so you’re just dependent on the socket laying on something to ground it? Chopper shakes so light flickers. Not worth it at all, go with something nicer.

First off the bulb socket rattled loose. Then the plastic cracked when I removed it to secure the socket. But then the filament on the running light of the bulb went out. Rode it again and the socket rattles loose. Lots of good reviews on this so maybe I got a lemon. But if you’re reading this and have the extra money just pay up for the prism.

Super stoked about this tail light. Can’t beat this one in all and for a sweet price as well. Maybe a little bit small so it doesn’t stick out that much, but that’s a personal thing.

Overall it’s a nice light and looks good. The one part I don’t like is that the bulb socket/plate is pressed into the housing with no good way of retaining it. It’s nice for changing the bulb but it fell out when I was riding the other night so my tail light/brake light stopped working. I’ll probably just either use a screw to retain it, run a ground wire to the base plate of the socket, or epoxy it to the housing. Definitely worth the price but make sure that the socket plate is secure to the housing or otherwise grounded or your light won’t work.

Flawless chrome, beautiful red lens and even a clear lens under to illuminate your license plate (I know that’s a big deal for some people living in strict states/counties). To say this is reasonably priced is an understatement.
