The cable is awesome and length is good. The only issue that came up was that the looped end is a little smaller than OEM, so the plastic peg that goes in it needs to be sanded down to slide in. Took no time and wasn't a hassle.

The cable is of good quality and adjusted out well. One problem I had that I can't totally figure out (and didn't invest much time in) was that the cable came with a brass washer instead of an O-ring for the primary cover side of the cable (I'm guessing as the cable came with no instructions,...and really shouldn't need to). I don't know for sure if the '04 Sporty uses a washer or an O-ring but the old cable had an O-ring and the cover wouldn't accept the O.D. of brass washer that the new cable came with. I had a new O-ring in my stash so all was good. The best thing was the shipping email said to expect the cable on Thursday. I have Wednesdays off so I was disappointed I couldn't go for a ride. The cable arrived Wednesday morning, so a quick install and I was at the pub after a nice test ride. Thanks for the super quick shipping!
