Hello I bought a drag specialties coil for use with electronic ignition from you and would like to know if it has an internal ballast resistor? My 1970 Ironhead has a Mallory electronic timer and am putting in a new module.The module instructions say to use a ballast resistor or use a coil that has internal resistor so you don’t burn up the module.Box has part 002242 coil 4 ohm for electronic ignition. Thanks

This coil will not have any ballast resistor built in to it

Is there any reason that this coil wouldn't work on an XS650 with a Pamco ignition?

I am not familiar with a Pamco to know what coil is required for that system if it is 12 volts and 4 ohms then it should work
