Horn button for old Harley
I bought the push button for a 1949 Harley Lightweight. This button is different from the original. The original connected the horn to ground on the handlebars. It was a single wire. This one is two wires. I'm building an electric bike out of the Harley, and I needed a horn switch that does not ground to the chassis. E-motorcycles don't ground to chassis because the high DC voltage from the battery can lead to arcs. I haven't installed this yet, but it appears to work for my application. If you're just replacing an old horn switch, it should work for you too, but you'll have to find a new place to ground since it doesn't connect to the handlebars (chassis).

Old school cool
When my previous starter button went out ( it really didn’t go out, it turns out the problem was the starter relay), I purchased a big, ****, plastic one from Amazon and while it worked fine, it looked completely out of place…enter this button. Old Skool cool, fits the look, works great! What’s not to like…..and many thanks to Lowbrow for helping keep these cranky antiques on the road.

Fast & easy
Thanks guys. I received my part in only a few days over here in Melbourne Australia. It’s going on my Ironhead chopper.

Buttons are great but could be better
They are fine as is but a single 1 wire button in the same style would be way more convientent.

Get Switched
This switch looks just like the original switch on my 68 FLH. Now the horn works!

CLEAN BARS
This will make the bars clean once I drill and tap them for this button. Nice chrome finish to go with the chrome on the bars.

Handlebar horn button
A minimal switch which looks very neat. It will be a few months before I fit it to my bike.

Horn switch
Easy breezy install

Thank you for the quick response and send this part out to me.

Quick and easy
Old school buttons for the old two piece handlebars.
Exact replacement for the buttons on my '57 K model bars, that I used on my '73 bobber build. They also fit my '71 FLH with the same style buttons. These I stocked as spares in case the old ones **** out on me.
