Bringing a 98 fatboy back to life. Putting this on a smooth rear fender. Not installed yet but will update when it is. Light seems to be good quality, it’s got some weight to it.
Q:I am looking for a different option than a stock rear break light setup on my 2001 sportster xl1200c. Will this easily plug into my setup(I’m assuming splicing required) but will fill the gap on the rear fender. Either way I’m looking for either a stock rear break light replacement that makes sense( tombstone or any other fixed system) or rear break light relocation kit. I’m AD military over seas and have had the stock system( shitty plastic base plate with screw anchor barrels) snap 4 times in the last 18 months and parts over seas is tragically slow. I dig your brand and company and have bought products off of you before and I’m looking for suggestions brethren.

A:Unfortunately because of the way the cut out on the rear fender for the taillight is it is difficult to use an aftermarket taillight that is not model specific.

A:It might work that would be up to you to decide this light is for custom use and is not model specific for any specific bike
