I was looking for a different cover for my 1982 XLH1000 HD Ironhead Sportster. I wanted something to accommodate a high flow, washable filter and was also slightly smaller than the standard Tear Drop Cover. This fit perfectly and looks great on the bike. I highly recommend it.

This bolted right up, the semi polished looks a little shiny for my faded aluminum on my motor but hopefully it'll dull down or I may take a scotch brite pad to it. Either way, great price on a cool piece to add to my bike.

Love the look of this one, even better in person. The only reason I knocked off one star is because if you are using a stock S&S backing with it you need to modify things a bit for a perfect fit. The air filter fits a little oblong on an S&S and this one is set up for a perfect circle. I had to grind down a tab on the S&S backing to get it to sit perfectly. Maybe not needed but I can be a bit of a perfectionist. May have been the fact I was using a K&N Filter.

Was looking for a more open air filter cover . I found it in this product, Did some mods to my new S&S carb, and lowbrows’ product helped finished it off nice... Looks , Quality, and Performance. Just added the (3) standoffs adapter kit off the backing plate from S&S , for bigger high flow filter... Then your cover just makes all around way more airflow ( cut away design ) meaning way more power ..!!! Polished her up for a day , it shined like jewelry !! Luv this company and there products,, there a 100% American co.

While I love the classic teardrop cover of the S&S, it’s always fun to switch it up on a chopper build. This cover is beautiful, solid, and a great addition with an old school vibe. Love it!
