This is a very study and well made tool, which is needed to lean into some of the torques required.There is a little room for improvement. It would be nice if the there were spacers to reduce the distance nuts on the tranny bolts need to travel. In my situation, with the vise on a standard workbench the transmission ends up sitting a little too high to see what is going on inside. In spite on my search for perfection this is well worth the money.

It works great! Mounted in a bench vise it allowed me to completely disassemble my 4-speed down to the bare case. It's lightweight and strong, and well made.

This works great. Makes wrenching on old trans much better. It also worked with oversized studs which is good. Definitely worth the money.
Great Tool
Made one of these years ago to hold the ubiquitous Honda CT engines in a vise. Saw this and knew I had to have it for the HD 4 speed. Makes things so much easier and you can torque everything properly with it clamped in a large vise. A must have to do things right. Excellent construction.

Does the trick and keeps your 4 speed from wobbling around or needing that extra set of hands while you break those nuts loose, or tighten the **** outta ‘em!
