      NOT A DIRECT BOLT IN

I don’t recommend at all. This does not work with factory air filter. Also modifications to carb required for throttle cable to work. Very disappointed. Will not work with a Triumph Trophy.

      Tired of Amal? Go JRC.

Simply perfect. I have a 61 triumph 5TA. Rebuilt the original carb with almost 100% new parts and still didn't have sucess with a consistant idle or throttle response. That 55 year old carb was just tired. This JRC was honestly plug and play. Kicked it over, turned the air thumb screw to set the speed. Done. Sometimes new is better. The only mod I had to perform was making the left hand but thinner to clear the body casting. Easy to do. Didn't shorten the stud at all. Just start to thread the carb slightly away from the manifold.

A little trouble but working now

The circular cable holder at carb top came dented - used the old one. Put carb on. Started right up but leaked a lot of gas from the float chamber. Sealed it waited a few days - started right up and no leak.

      26mm Carb

Awesome response time! A couple items i didn't care for. The float bowl jet cap is wicked loose fit. Threads are marginal. It appears the air filter spigot end was machined strait across, no rib left. Will have to be extra careful with filter fitting. Nice product for the buck!

I fitted this carb in order to change my Amal 626 and I have now a great running and smooth idle.

      I have a Friends 68...

I have a Friends 68 T100 bobber that he wanted to put a better carb on cause the Amel carb was worn out! It was sticking at WOT and what a ride when that happens!! So I got P26-140 and put in on and WOW what a differance it made. Better throttle responce threw all gears and all it needed was a slite tweeking with the air/fuel and set the Idle. I am in the middle of a 69 650 Bonnie hardtail build and I am going to run the carbs on it. TON UP MAN TON UP!!!!
