This 93 cubic inch SH93 S&S Shovelhead engine fits 1970-84 HD big twin models and is ideal for a building a retro custom bike. Keep in mind that as cool as these motors look, they are not reproductions. These engines were built to run!

Fits 70-99 chassis with alternator-style primary
S&S 8.5:1 forged pistons and S&S Super Stock cylinder heads
S&S Super E carburetor with classic teardrop air cleaner
S&S hydraulic valve train and roller rockers
S&S Super Stock single fire electronic ignition system
S&S billet cam cover
Includes oil filter mount for generator location
Natural crankcase with black powder-coat cylinders
93" displacement, 8.5:1 compression, 3-5/8" bore x 4-1/2" stroke

EMISSIONS NOTES: This engine is CARB-restricted item and cannot ship to California or be registered there due to California emissions law.

I'm interested in purchasing the 93" s&s motor with carb and ignition included. I am wanting to know if it would work ok with 4 speed ratchet top and also what is recommended for a coil and regulator. Thanks!

This would be fine with a 4 speed trans The Super Stock® ignition is a single-fire design requiring a single fire coil with a minimum of 3.0 ohms resistance The regulator would need to match whatever alternator you choose to run
