Works as designed

We all know how difficult it is to remove the bowl screws with the carb on the bike. These solve that problem. They should come with lock washers for the price. Like another reviewer stated, the screw that goes through the accelerator pump cap was difficult going in. Don’t know if that particular screw has a thicker coating of chrome or is machined out of tolerance. This also makes it difficult to get a 5/16” wrench or socket on. And I tried several.

Finally

haven’t installed yet, but I’ve had to remove the bowl before and couldn’t do it, lack of tools.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!

I ride a 65 Panhead on a stretched and lowered 57 frame. This little set of screws has made dropping the bowl on my S&S carb a breeze instead of a visit to ****!! I no longer have to lay on my back on the ground, (I am 67 years old), now I just sqwat down and with a Stanley 5/16", x 1/4" box end wrench number 7-86-874 I can not only EASILY remove the bowl, with the 1/4" end I can take the clamp off that holds the gas line on!! This little wrench slipped right into my tool box that is mounted to my rigid frame with no trouble at all. Who ever came up with this little set of screws shoul be made a Saint of the highest degree!! I will see you in the wind!!

S&S Should have thought of this

The screw by the accelerator pump was a little tight fitting. I didn't think it was the right size but just a little turn or two and it went right through the float bowl and up into the carburetor. These worked great but I'm a little concerned that they have no lock washers on them like the factory screws. I put a little Loktite on them. Hey S&S! I can't believe you guys didn't come up with this. After all these years and you're still using those tired old slotted head screws. C'mon guys. You should be embarrased that someone else had to come up with this.
