Banana tank on a ‘95 Softail bobber project

First, super fast delivery by FedEx- thx to them. Nice finish on the tank. Had to change the mounts to fit my application. Had to raise the back almost 3/4” to clear back rocker box- still a slight backward rake, so all good (left the 1/4” high pinch weld because I still had the rake I wanted). Sorry, tried to paste a couple photos, but this box seem to allow that.

Great looking tank. Quality. Gotta pressure test and mock up still but looks perfect.

This is a really cool tank. Bought for 1953 Triumph pre unit hard tail bobber project. Really efficient Lowbrow logistics - arrived after only 6 days. Excellent value for a really well made tank. Was going to put an original Triumph tank on frame but opted for this - glad I made this choice. Lowbrow are a credit - great service. Import duties sting you a bit but that life!

Awesome quality, shipped fast! Really tied the look together. Photos are in a stock cradle and David bird looped hardtail +4 stretch and drop. 1989 Xl883 Low. Will need spacer/risers so it's not resting on the rear head but that's an easy fab. Thank y'all for all the over the phone help!!

This tank is well made, arrived super fast and well packed and is exactly the profile I was looking for. As always it was a glitch-free purchase process with Lowbrow and a superior product.

Great shape

Love the shape of the tank, pressure tested and had no issues. My one complaint is that there is more material than it seems like there needs to be where the tunnel meets the shell, meaning that it actually was in the way of mounting for me and had to be trimmed down a bit, which can create more work if you puncture through. It was almost .5" at the tallest part, which definitely is more than is presented in the pictures here, and something to be aware of when considering what work you have to put into the tank to get it all the way ready. Overall, the tank gets an 8/10. great shape, thick metal, and needed minimal bodywork besides the above mentioned to get it ready for paint. Everyone keeps comparing it to a superglide tank, but it is definitely more tapered at the back with a better flow into a varrow seat section.

Big Banana Killer Diller

Fits a big twin Evo perfect with just enough room. Reminded me of the Superglide off of a Shovelhead.

Very nice take well built and quality but it’s wide...

If you buy any lowbrow tank you will be happy with the quality. They are all well build and at a great price but with the super banana I would have named it the “baby Fxe superglide” the tank looks like a banana from the side but from the back it looks a lot like a fxe tank. Also side note if you are putting on a panhead with stock frame it won’t clear the rear pan (just like every other non-Frisco tank).
