I got my first Harley-Davidson in 1982 and I've always wanted a panhead. My dad hated the fact that I rode Harleys and he especially hated my shovelhead I owned when I was 18 that leaked all over his garage all the time. I bought this panhead survivor in 2015 with money my dad left me.
This bike originally came off of a farm from Iowa. I put on the Biltwell Moto handlebars and the vintage style motorcycle tires. I love this bike so much, it feels like a dirtbike and starts on the first kick every time! It’s named “Lil ½ Black.” This bike is also one of the only swingarm frames with real shotgun pipes on it that i know of.
I had Panhead Pete powdercoat almost all chrome or shiny parts. He also went through the engine. To me now this bike is perfect! Thanks to Pete and Jeff for making this into my dream bike. It’s simple and easy, like me!! Also thanks to Liam Kennedy for the great photos!
