In January 2017 I had the exciting opportunity to travel to the far north-east corner of India and spend 10 days riding motorcycles with some other friends in the motorcycle industry: Bear and Tim of Old Bike Barn, Bill of Biltwell Inc., and photographer Mike Vandergriff. The group was led by Motorcycle Sherpa, who specialize in organizing motorcycle trips to some of the most remote parts of Asia. They handle the nitty gritty details such as inter-state border permits and procuring and maintaining the motorcycles used on our journey, in this case Royal Enfields. This video will give you a taste of our week on the road as we explored the Indian states of Assam, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh as well as dipping into a remote border region of Myan Mar to have lunch and meet some of the last of the surviving headhunters of the region.
