I'm finishing up a project and gathering parts for another when this one is done. I decided I wanted to hardtail a little evo sporty. My hardtail arrived this morning. The craftsmanship is superb. Everything looks really nice. It's going to be a little while before I'm ready to start this project. So, I'm going to spray some rust inhibitor on it and wrap it up. When I get this one finished I'll post some pics. Thanks Lowbrow!!!

This was a little spooky I must admit. Cutting my bike in half was the easy part. Welding it back was a little tricky but I got it all true and straight. The lowbrow hardtail is really nicely put together and built solid. I'm glad I went with this one!

What are you waiting for? Get it! Cut your bike in half! It rocks! Really though, I was able to do this with no special tools or fancy techniques. I don't even have a lift. If you have a welder, a cutoff wheel, and any amount of sense, you can have a roller in a weekend.

It’s good the lack of suspension I was looking for and the clean welds to hold it together! I did blow through the upper slug on the rosette weld, but that’s just from my welding deficiency. I think they make a multivitamin for that. Anyway, this has great quality and you should definitely cut your sportster in half to install it.

I used the lowbrow customs YouTube video to help me install it, and it was really straight forward and easy to understand. Great quality, fairly easy to do following the instructions on this page, I see questions asked about the welding so ill pop in what I used, I gass-less MIG to weld mine using a 0.9mm flux cored wire, its not the preferred method for a lot of builders but only for aesthetic purposed, but it penetrates and holds well (the preferred welding type for large scale industrial repairs)
