Panhead Jim is an internationally published moto journalist and photographer specializing in vintage motorcycles. He has a passion for delving into the history of these old machines and bases a lot of his work on the experiences he's had riding and building antique motorcycles over the last 25 years. He firmly believes that old motorcycles shouldn't just languish away in museums, but should be on the road doing what they were originally built to do. In 2015 he successfully crossed the US on a 1933 Harley-Davidson VL he built from the ground up, joined only by one other rider on a 1934 VLD. No trucks or trailers, just two old Harley's leaking across America.
